The core creative output of this research project has been three curated live performances of Australian piano trio repertoire. For information regarding the performers, Jason Tong (violin) Kirsten Tong (cello) and Maree Kilpatrick (research candidate, piano) visit ‘the people’ page of this website. Thanks also to Helen Kilpatrick and QGCU staff for assistance with media, lighting etc.

The performances were as follows: Heritage, held on 3 December 2019; Landscapes, held on 15 October 2020, and To be human, held on 14 November 2021. All performances were held in the Ian Hanger Recital at Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. Together with the live presentation of works, the performances included program notes, spoken descriptions, audiovisual presentations and arrangements or displays of native flora.

Program notes and further repertoire information from the performances can be found under the Featured works page, and recordings of the performance of each work are included in the links.
