This project is part of a Doctor of Musical Arts candidacy research project, the full title of which is ‘Exploring contemporary curated performances of Australian works for piano trio through artistic and contextual perspectives.’ In a nutshell, the project involves the contextualisation, curation and collaborative presentation of a series of three performances of Australian repertoire written or arranged by the composer for piano, violin and cello.

The people

At the heart of this project is musical and ideological collaboration, and the candidate is indebted to the contributions of both the supervision team, Dr Catherine Grant and Daniel De Borah, and the collaborating musicians, Jason Tong (violin) and Kirsten Tong (cello).
